Prepping some multi-sensory packs to trial with the families of 'Mini Explorers' toddler group, whilst we're not able to meet. They contain lots of natural materials like sisal, wool, twigs, bark, feathers, cork, shells, hessian, pine cones and raffia to explore using their senses, with their adults. Thinking the children will have their own ideas about what they might do, but possibilities can be suggested to parents such as talking about the resources, adding to them with other found pieces, sorting them, using the box as a mini 'small world' for imaginative play or combining with PVA glue to add a messy dimension and create collage.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
